Overview
Forrest F. Schrum, IV, is an attorney practicing in Swift Currie’s litigation section. He focuses his practice on matters related to trucking litigation, as well as premises and products liability.
Forrest developed a deep knowledge of the inner workings of the courts as a judicial intern for the Honorable Jeffrey Hanson of the State Court of Bibb County, where he researched and analyzed case law pertaining to civil matters and helped draft orders on summary judgment for civil cases. Additionally, he served as a summer associate for two Georgia law firms.
Forrest utilizes a process-oriented approach to resolve claims for his clients. He takes time to gather information to fully understand the goal at hand and breaks his strategy down into step-by-step tasks that lead toward resolution. Additionally, he believes that open communication is the key to success.
Forrest earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the Mercer University School of Law, where he finished in the top 5 of his class and was a member of the Mercer Law Review. He received his B.S. in finance from the University of Georgia.
