David Lee is an attorney practicing in Swift Currie’s litigation section, with a focus on defending individual and corporate clients in insurance and civil litigation matters. David represents clients in a broad range of areas, including automobile and trucking litigation, premises liability, commercial litigation, sexual abuse/assault cases and numerous others.

Having grown up in multiple countries and being a fluent speaker of both English and Korean, David has a strong connection to clients with diverse backgrounds and cultural differences. He recognizes that clients do not always have a full understanding of the legal process or the court system, so his work style emphasizes clear, patient and open communication with clients to improve their knowledge of cases and clarify misunderstandings they may have.

Prior to joining Swift Currie, David practiced for four years as plaintiff’s counsel practicing civil litigation. During this time, he handled over 400 cases with close to 20 bench trials and one jury trial. This experience has provided him with insight to how plaintiff attorneys think and approach our cases.

While in law school, David was the recipient of numerous merit-based scholarships. Additionally, he previously chaired a committee for the Korean American Bar Association of Georgia where he conducted professional workshops, led networking events and provided general support to help advance students in their legal studies and careers.
