Overview
Ben Williams is an associate at Swift Currie representing employers and insurers in workers’ compensation matters. His practice focuses on defending claims at all stages of litigation and pre-litigation, helping clients navigate the workers’ compensation system efficiently and strategically.
Ben manages a significant caseload of workers’ compensation claims, advising employers and insurance carriers on risk exposure, claim evaluation and litigation strategy. He is known for his thoughtful approach to client counseling, attention to detail and his ability to explain complex legal issues clearly and pragmatically.
Prior to focusing on workers’ compensation defense, Ben worked as an associate at a private criminal defense firm, where he regularly counseled clients and their families through difficult decisions involving plea negotiations and potential penalties. Ben developed a solid grasp of the core mechanics of litigation, navigating complex evidentiary issues and gaining valuable experience in the courtroom.
Ben earned his J.D. from Mercer University School of Law and his undergraduate degree in history from the University of North Georgia.

Outside the office, Ben enjoys reading history, literature, philosophy and social commentary. A musician and artist, he also spends time writing, recording and performing music while continuing to develop his skills on multiple instruments.
