Overview

Anna M. Diaz-Caballero is an associate attorney in Swift Currie’s Atlanta office. She focuses her practice on insurance coverage, commercial litigation and employment counseling and litigation.

Anna has prior experience in handling labor and employment matters, including advising clients on matters relating to human resources. This experience offered her a unique perspective and taught her the importance of investigating, as needed, to get beneath the surface of matters that arise. Anna carries this perspective when assisting and advising clients in her insurance defense practice as well. Anna also has experience working with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Department of Labor and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. With regard to coverage and commercial litigation, she has experience working with the Department of Insurance.

Anna earned her J.D. from the Mercer University School of Law. While in law school, she spent a summer as a legal intern for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Additionally, Anna completed a semester-long externship with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the General Counsel. She received her B.A. in criminal justice from the University of Georgia.

Interests

Anna is extremely active in her church and participates in mission opportunities in the Atlanta community, such as yearly Habitat for Humanity builds in partnership with other local churches. She also enjoys ballroom dancing, including teaching and choreographing first dances for weddings.
