Overview

Alex W. Henson is an associate at Swift Currie focusing on automobile litigation, catastrophic injury and wrongful death, commercial litigation and premises liability. With extensive courtroom experience from his background in criminal law, Alex brings confident, trial-ready advocacy to complex civil matters.

Before joining Swift Currie, Alex served as an Assistant District Attorney and Assistant Solicitor General in Gwinnett County, where he prosecuted serious violent felonies, homicides and sex offenses. During that time, he completed nine jury trials, gaining valuable insight into courtroom dynamics, evidentiary challenges and client communication under pressure.

Clients value Alex’s composed presence and ability to translate his litigation background into strategic civil defense. His perspective is shaped by public service and a deep commitment to delivering results with professionalism and empathy.

Alex earned his J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law and his undergraduate degree from Kennesaw State University.

Interests

Alex is an active member of The Temple in Midtown and regularly volunteers within the Atlanta Jewish community. He is also a member of the Jewish Bar Association of Georgia and was selected to the Jacobson Leadership Institute’s 2025 Cohort through the Atlanta Jewish Federation. In his free time, he enjoys pickleball, art and philanthropy.
