Overview

Adam W. Simonton is an associate practicing in Swift Currie’s litigation section, focusing primarily on the representation and defense of architects, engineers and general contractors in construction disputes. Additionally, his practice includes defending clients in automobile litigation, trucking and other commercial litigation and liability disputes.

Prior to joining Swift Currie, Adam drafted interlocutory motions, discovery responses and settlement evaluations as a clerk for a metro Atlanta litigation firm and coordinated acquisition strategy between client partners, legal and finance while interning at WarnerMedia.

Adam also served as a mediator in Fulton and DeKalb county magistrate courts where he drafted and settled over 150 disputes. Proficient in dispute resolution, Adam recognizes the need for close attention to detail while remaining focused on the efficient yet satisfying resolution of his clients’ matters.

Adam earned his J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law. While attending law school, he was honored with the Excellent Performance in Lawyering Advocacy award and CALI Award in Partnership and LLC Taxation. Adam graduated with a B.A. in political science from Mississippi State University.
