Fred Ferrand and Marcus Dean are hosting the webinar, "Abusive Litigation and Bad Faith," on April 29 from 1-2 p.m.

Ferrand and Dean will address strategies and techniques plaintiffs use to inflate claims and attack insurance carriers and their insureds. Ferrand and Dean will specifically discuss the statutory bad faith claims asserted under O.C.G.A. § 33-4-6 (first party) and requests for litigation expenses under O.C.G.A. § 13-6-11. The program will also cover strategies to respond to frivolous claims and lawsuits, as well as useful discovery techniques and motions to highlight factually unsupported claims.

The webinar will offer one general hour of continuing education credit for attendees registered with the Georgia Department of Insurance.
