Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Carrier Owes Nothing Following Trial

The defendant in a case concerning a motor vehicle accident turned right onto a four-lane road and crossed immediately into the far left lane in front of the plaintiff, causing the plaintiff to hit her car. The officer found the defendant to be at fault and issued a citation for failing to yield. The plaintiff was taken by ambulance to the hospital where she was treated for a broken wrist. The plaintiff argued the broken wrist caused her to miss work and ultimately resulted in carpal tunnel. The uninsured/underinsured motorist carrier owed nothing following trial in Richmond County.
