EMPLOYMENT CRITERIA
It is the firm’s policy to employ individuals who have distinguished themselves through their academic performance, and who demonstrate those individual and professional traits required of a successful attorney. We seek only summer associates and permanent associates who we feel have the capacity to become partners in the firm. The firm has hired associates and summer associates from law schools such as Duke University, Emory University, Georgetown University, Georgia State University, the University of Georgia, Harvard University, Mercer University, the University of North Carolina, the University of Florida, Vanderbilt University and the University of Virginia.

All attorneys who wish to participate in civic, pro bono, political, charitable, cultural and bar-related activities are encouraged to become involved in their areas of particular interest. Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers, LLP has historically been involved in fulfilling its civic responsibility of service to the community. The firm has also been closely involved with the enactment of several pieces of legislation by the Georgia General Assembly, including enactment of tort reform statutes.
